Hot Tub Heater


A hot tub is not something new but it has evolved over the years from the vintage natural springs to the modern Jacuzzi's. In the ancient era people used to have a hot water bath in open springs but nowadays you can use a hot tub heater which is mainly seen as a source of entertainment.

The heating is carried out through a heat exchanger wherein the tubes are made hot by electrical resistance and flowing water is made to pass across the heated coil which transfers heat to the water. A pump which is located in the cabinet is usually employed to circulate the water across the heated coil.

Once the water becomes hot it needs to be circulated throughout the tub. It is then passed through a nozzle where in its velocity increases at the expense of pressure thereby generating more of heat. Thus water is finally released in the form of jets.

The heating system employed in a hot tub heater may differ from the electric to gas heaters with each having its pros and cons. The gas heaters have a lesser operating cost than the electric ones are more commonly employed. Coming to the benefits of a hot tub heater, they not only help you relax but also help you to avoid the extreme cold in chilly weather conditions.

Always use chlorine as a disinfectant to prevent the growth of microorganisms like bacteria and algae. Also employ a flocculent material that helps in easy drainage of the waste water, and it won't clog your hot tub heater.
